IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT   To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.  What this means for you:  When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

You can apply for membership in one of three ways:

  1. By Using the Print and Mail membership application click here.
    To join by mail, you must:

    • Include a photocopy of your driverís license or other unexpired government issued photo identification (State picture ID, Military picture or Passport).

    • Enclose a check in the amount of $5 payable to West Metro Schools Credit Union. The $5  is required to establish your membership share (savings) account and must remain in account to maintain your membership.

    • Mail the complete Membership Application and the above required items to:

  2. To open an account at our office, you must bring:

    • A driverís license or other unexpired government issued photo identification (State picture ID, Military picture or Passport) and $5.00 for minimum balance in share (savings) account.

  3. Call our office at 952-988-4165 to request an application package.
